On Sunday, March 9th, the 34rd Yonegamiyama Megalith Festival will be held at the city-designated historic site "Sadakyoseki," located at the foot of Yonegamiyama in the Sada district of Ajimu Town.
This event is held prior to the mountain opening to pray for the safety of the mountain and the safety of climbers.
At the Yonegamiyama Megalith Festival, a mountain opening ritual is held, followed by a kids' sightseeing guided tour by students from Sada Elementary School, as well as attractions such as direct sales of agricultural products and rice cake throwing.
